Guides you can run without buying Nerxus One
A guide that only works inside our UI is an ad. These ten are methods: write an ICP a search can answer, pick a detector you can fulfill this week, attach a real sample, collect reviews without a hidden public path, keep ten clients from sharing a sender.
When a step maps to a module we say so. When you can do the step in a spreadsheet and a browser, we leave it that way. The blog is a different set and is not written yet.
The ten URLs are first client, local ICP, signals worth selling, sample-first outreach, sell a website, reputation collection, supervised versus autonomous, ten clients, ADA as a service, and AI-search visibility. Each one is useful if you never join the waitlist. Each one names the Nerxus noun when the same step later has a button.
You still need a sending domain you control, a preview you can host, and a problem you can fulfill by Friday. You do not need our seat to write the ICP line or to refuse a gating flow. Get started remains /join if you want the modules. The guides remain methods if you do not.
How to write an ICP a search can answer
Write an ICP as a category a directory already uses, a city you can name on a map, a problem you can fulfill this week, and the thing you will not take. Dentists in Austin with no online booking is a hunt. Quality wellness brands in Texas is a paragraph you will retype all week.
The vertical has to be a job you can finish by Friday. If you build sites and booking blocks, hunt businesses with a missing site or a phone-only listing. If you only write Google posts, do not hunt ADA gaps. Week one dies when the offer and the detector belong to two different people.
The metro has to be small enough that you can read ten listings before lunch. A whole state is a vanity filter. Exclusions belong in the same line. You already serve three offices on South Lamar. Those names should not reappear as new money.
In Nerxus One that line becomes a profile Scout can run again. Required signals have to be live in the registry. demoMode is the DEMO the loop is allowed to pre-build. In a notes app the same line is still the only sentence that keeps Thursday from turning into a new niche. Read /guides/local-icp for the long form.
How to pick a signal you can fulfill this week
Pick a signal you can fulfill this week by ranking detectors on whether you already ship the fix, not on how clever the tag sounds. No website is a website conversation. No booking is a book-path conversation. A missing privacy policy is a draft with professional review recommended. A modeled chair-hour number is an estimate with assumptions.
Cheap tags at search time are no website, no SSL, low rating, few reviews, unclaimed listing. They are cheap because they come from the same fetch that found the listing. Deeper families wait on a diagnostic pass: ADA, hiring, permits, service-gap, AEO. Unknown means you cannot sell that sentence yet.
The ranked working list lives on /guides/signals-worth-selling. A list without a problem is not an opportunity. Sell the finding that already knows the builder. A detector that maps to a fix carries a fulfillment action in this product. In a spreadsheet you write the same mapping in a column: tag, sentence, sample, ask.
Common mistake: treating every detector as a same-day offer. Common mistake: hunting quality businesses. Common mistake: contacting from the search screen. Search is a read. Mail is a write. Mixing those jobs is how a new sender dies.
How sample-first outreach works without our UI
Sample-first outreach works when the finding is specific, the preview is real, and the ask is one meeting. I noticed this listing has no booking button, so I already built a working sample. Here is the live link. Can we talk Tuesday.
You can host the preview on any stack you already pay for. In Nerxus One, Forge opens from the finding and DEMO is the word for that preview. DEPLOY stays gated. Do not describe a preview as a publish. Do not describe a booked call as a DEMO.
Send email on a domain you control. Cold voice is a lock here and a bad week-one habit everywhere. Cold SMS is a lock here and a consent problem everywhere. If you cannot attach a live link, wait a day. Three to seven specific notes beat twenty generic ones.
The sequence stops if they reply. Interested, question, not now, unsubscribe. Your calendar is the book link in the mail. Their customer book never shares that grid. Read /guides/sample-first-outreach for the tone that does not sound like a scan. Read /guides/first-client for the Monday-through-Friday cadence.
How to sell a website to a business that already has one
Sell a website to a business that already has one by selling the gap the current site fails. No booking, no SSL, no service pages, no collect path, an unreadable menu, a missing city practice page. You are not selling a new aesthetic.
Build the smallest preview that proves the gap. A book path. A service times city page. A readable menu. A quote widget. Host it. Mail the live link. If you already have the client and only need a site, Lovable is faster in isolation. This guide is for the week before they are a client.
In Nerxus One, Forge opens from the fulfillment action on the finding. DEMO first. DEPLOY gated. One Free Fix means the DEMO asset, not an unsupervised publish onto a domain you do not own yet. Branding can ride the preview. Powered by Nerxus stays off unless you want the conversation to become a software demo.
Read /guides/sell-a-website for the long form. Web studios fear building pages for people who never pay. A pretty preview with no finding is spec work. The finding is the brief. The preview is the subject. The ask is one meeting.
How to keep ten clients from sharing a sender
Keep ten clients from sharing a sender by giving each book a domain you verified and a portal token that opens one business. Sharing a warmup pool across unrelated shops is how you inherit someone else's complaint. Sharing a login is how a screenshot lands in the wrong Slack.
In a spreadsheet that means one tab per client, one sending domain per contract, and no CSV export into a shared drive named Joe's. In Nerxus One a Clerk organization is the tenant. Saved leads, secrets, boards, and portals live there. v1 does not resell white-label sub-accounts. Isolation is still the feature.
Client eleven is an economics question and an isolation question. If two legal brands share one tenant to save a seat, they will leak. Two humans approving the same send because the queue looked lonely is how a small team looks sloppy. Name who owns Relay.
Read /guides/ten-clients for the method. Read /solutions/agencies for the mix-up fear. Read /solutions/agency for the procurement sentence. Health on a client record is Healthy, Watch, or At-risk. It is never their revenue printed as a dollar.
How to tell Supervised from Autonomous without buying a seat
Supervised means a human says yes before a send, a publish, a deploy, or a spend. Autonomous means enabled actions may run inside caps, windows, and scope without that yes. Off means work is staged and nothing runs. Supervised is the default here. Autonomous is a per-action opt-in, never a mood.
You can run that grid on paper. Search and draft can sit in Autonomous on a worksheet. Mail, post, publish, and deploy stay Supervised until you have a reason. Cold voice, cold SMS, review gating, and unverified-domain send stay Off even if a vendor offers a toggle. Those four are locks in this product.
Overnight playbooks are not a reason to flip the grid in week one. Governance can be live while the runner is still the open half. We will not claim autonomous dispatch has already spent a night. A careful marketer spends the first month in Supervised even after a seat exists.
Read /guides/supervised-vs-autonomous for the flip rules. Read /product/guardrails when you have a seat. Most restrictive wins among a global mode, a per-action cell, and a playbook's wish. A playbook cannot smuggle a locked row.
How ADA as a service stays a draft with a review label
ADA as a service stays a draft you label professional review recommended. You can sell a labeled draft. You cannot sell a pretend law firm. Privacy and cookie copy follow the same rule. A missing policy is a finding. A filed opinion is not.
In a browser you still check the public page, write the gap, and attach a draft. In Nerxus One, compliance fixers are that draft path. We do not pretend this is counsel. Legal pages waiting on counsel stay short and honest. Acceptable use already names the locks.
Medical and dental books still do not get a HIPAA claim because you offered an ADA draft. Walk away when the prospect needs a badge we do not have. Sell the public gap. Do not sell a chart.
Read /guides/ada-as-a-service for the method. The industry medical page repeats the refuse. The first proposal should refuse invented outcomes, invented credentials, and a same-day malpractice product.
How AI search visibility stays stored evidence
AI search visibility stays stored evidence when you write down the question, the engine, the k/n citation count, the model, and the window. A vibe score is not evidence. Sell the screenshot that shows they were not cited. Then write the answer-first page that should have been cited.
AEO is a page, not a slogan. Service times city, schema, answer-first copy. In this product the probe stores k/n, model, and evidence. Muse and the SEO tool write from the same taxonomy that found the gap. Semrush still wins at research breadth. BrightLocal still wins at rank PDFs. Keep them if that is the desk.
A restaurant week sells the dinner question the engine answered without them. A firm week sells the question they already answer. Do not promise a citation. Promise a page and a stored probe you can show again next month.
Read /guides/ai-search-visibility for the method. Market intelligence rollups, when preview is on, still need provenance. A rollup without coverage does not become a pitch sentence. Unknown is allowed.
How a first-client week runs Monday through Friday
A first-client week runs find on Monday, prove and sample on Tuesday, send on Wednesday, replies on Thursday, and a meeting on Friday. You can run that cadence without our UI. A signed job is a separate outcome. Treat the week as a cadence, not a promise.
Monday: one vertical, one metro, one problem. Search the directories you already trust. Save three to seven you can fulfill. Do not email them yet. Tuesday: write the finding, attach a real preview, park the rest so they do not rot. Wednesday: mail from a domain you control. Stop if they reply.
Thursday: classify interested, question, not now, unsubscribe. Fix a vague finding or a dead link before you hunt a new metro. Friday: take the meeting on your calendar. Charge a FEE you can say out loud for the work you will do this month. Do not quote a modeled recovery number as if it were cash in their register.
In Nerxus One the same days map to Scout, Radar, Forge, Relay, and a Pulse Demo stage that means the meeting. Steward waits until Closed. Echo waits until reputation is on the contract. Overnight playbooks are not required for the week to be real. Read /guides/first-client.
What we will not promise in a guide
We will not promise a first client in five days. We will promise a cadence you can run in five days. We will not print a close rate. We will not print a lead volume. We will not print a price you should charge beyond a FEE you can say out loud.
We will not promise a citation from an answer engine. We will not promise a rank. We will not promise HIPAA or SOC 2. We will not promise overnight autonomous dispatch. We will not promise a white-label resale console. We will not promise live Yelp reply.
We will not write a guide that only works after checkout. Checkout is off. Get started is the waitlist. A guide that required a seat to start would be an ad. These ten start in a browser and a notes file.
The blog set is a different list and is not written yet. Detectors versus audits, inbound voice, no review gating, DEV versus FEE, modeled dollars, Watchtower timing, service-gap, sell the screenshot, health bands, one free fix. Do not cite those URLs as shipped essays. Cite the guides.
How a guide maps to a module when you later have a seat
A guide maps to a module when the same step later has a button. Local ICP maps to /product/icp. Signals worth selling maps to /product/signals and /product/radar. Sample-first maps to /product/sample-first and /product/websites. Reputation collection maps to /product/reputation. Supervised versus autonomous maps to /product/guardrails.
Sell a website maps to Forge DEMO then DEPLOY. Ten clients maps to /product/clients, /product/portal, and /product/senders. ADA as a service maps to /product/compliance-fixers. AI-search visibility maps to /product/ai-visibility and /product/seo. First client maps to the whole loop in one week.
When you have a seat, persist first and pass a business uuid. Do not copy a Google place id into a spreadsheet because it looks official. You will lose the thread the first time a key rotates. Google Places is still required. Unknown is still allowed.
Nova can take the guide sentence as a prompt. Find dentists in Austin with no booking, diagnose three, draft the mail. Nova routes Scout, then Radar, then Relay. Supervised still waits. The guide did not become an autonomous blast because you got a login.
Who these guides are for, and who should use a product page instead
These guides are for a solo marketer or a small team that already talks to local owners, or wants to, and needs a method before a seat. If you sell websites, reputation, local SEO, inbound voice, or a retainer built from those jobs, start with first client and ICP.
Use a product page instead when you need the lock, the agent, or the residual in writing for procurement. Guardrails. Agents. Senders. Portal. Roadmap not-doing. Compare pages when you already have GHL, Apollo, Instantly, or BrightLocal and you need the where-they-win sentence.
Industry pages are not guides. They name the trigger for the SMB you sell into. Solutions pages are not guides. They name the marketer's fear. Read those after the method, or when the fear is the thing that keeps you up.
If you sell to VPs on LinkedIn, these guides will feel like the wrong object. Use a people graph. If you only need a list, a lighter pull is enough. If you only need a rank PDF, stay on the tracker. The guides assume you want a conversation that ends in fulfilled work, not a full spreadsheet.
How to use the guides when you already have a stack
Use the guides as the seam check when Clay, Instantly, Lovable, and GoHighLevel already cover your week. Write the ICP. Pick one signal. Attach a real preview. Send from a domain you control. See whether the finding died in a CSV. If it did not, you may not need us this quarter.
If it did, the uuid is the reason to join the waitlist. Scout saves the listing. Radar writes the sentence. Forge attaches the link. Relay sends. Steward inherits. That is the product version of the same five days.
Keep the specialist where they win. BrightLocal for the PDF. Instantly for volume. Lovable for an isolated build. Synthflow for telephony depth. Climbo or Birdeye for a review-only desk. Semrush for research. Apollo for titles. GHL for the paying book. The guide does not ask you to lie about those wins.
When you write us, tell us the vertical, the metro, and whether you need a demo, a seat, or a correction. /contact and /support are people. /demo is twenty minutes with the loop. /join is the waitlist. We will not parse a paragraph about synergies.
How to host a preview when you do not have Forge yet
Host a preview on any stack you already pay for, as long as the link loads for a stranger without a login. A working sample that 404s is worse than waiting a day. The finding still has to be specific. A pretty page with no named leak is spec work.
Pick the smallest page that proves the gap. A book button. A readable menu. A service times city block. A collect URL with public review buttons. A quote widget. Do not rebuild their whole brand in a weekend and then mail a generic intro. The preview is the subject, not the portfolio.
In Nerxus One, Forge opens from the fulfillment action and DEMO is the word for that preview. DEPLOY stays gated. One Free Fix means the DEMO asset. You can do the same split without us. Do not publish onto a domain they have not handed you. Do not tell them the site is live when it is a preview.
If you already have the client and only need a site, Lovable is faster in isolation. This guide is for the week before they pay. Attach the URL in the note. If you later get a seat, persist the business first and keep the same uuid so Steward does not start over.
How to write the finding sentence before you mail
Write the finding sentence before you mail so the first line can stand without your agency paragraph. I noticed this GBP has no booking button and a dropping rating. I already built a working sample. Here is the live link. That is the note. The ask is one meeting on your calendar.
A sentence that says you help local businesses grow is not a finding. A sentence that says you noticed they might benefit from AI is not a finding. A sentence that quotes a modeled dollar as cash in their register is a lie. Keep assumptions on the diagnostic if you show a number at all.
In this product Radar writes evidence, confidence, and a modeled dollar. Atlas refuses a bare dollar. You can refuse a bare dollar in a Google Doc too. If you skip the diagnostic, you can still write. You will write like every other vendor. Specificity is the diagnostic job even when the tool is a notes file.
Stop if they reply. Do not finish a five-step sequence out of habit. Interested, question, not now, unsubscribe. If nobody replies, re-read the three emails. If the finding is vague or the link is dead, fix those two things before you hunt a new metro. Do not add adjectives to the ICP instead.
How quiet hours and stop-on-reply work in a personal inbox
Quiet hours and stop-on-reply work in a personal inbox when you treat a reply as the end of the sequence and you do not mail at 11pm because you finally finished the preview. The product later enforces those rules on Relay. You can enforce them with a calendar and a folder now.
Unverified domains are a blocking gate here. In a personal setup, sending from a free inbox you do not control is how a new marketer gets blocked. Use a domain you own. Warm it. Do not paste the same note to twenty shops on day one. Three to seven specific notes beat a blast.
Suggested replies, when you have a seat, stay gated in Supervised. In a personal inbox, a draft is still a draft until you send it. Do not let a model mail for you from a personal tab next to a fresh list. Scout never contacts. You should not contact from the search screen either.
Forms consent is the only SMS on-ramp in this product. In a personal week, do not text a scraped list and call it a campaign. Email and a collect URL you can defend are enough. Cold voice is a lock here and a bad habit everywhere. The first-client guide repeats that for a reason.
What to do when the metro is empty after an honest search
When the metro is empty after an honest search, change the city, not the story of who you are. Two verticals is two fulfillment stacks, two sample types, and two ways to stall. One stack, one city, one problem. If Austin dentists all have booking paths you cannot beat this week, try the next metro or a different detector you can fulfill.
Empty can also mean unknown. If you only searched one directory and skipped the rest, you do not know the metro is empty. Google Maps is enough for week one. In this product Google Places is the only live discovery source; Facebook adds page signals, Yelp needs a paid Fusion plan, and Yellow Pages has no supported API. Do not invent a green check.
Empty can mean you already serve the street. Exclusions belong in the ICP. A hunt that cannot remember your book will waste Thursday on a polite email to a current client. In Nerxus One the profile holds those names. In a notes file a column called already-ours does the same job.
Watchtower is how emptiness changes later. A permit, a storm, a rating drop, a license drift. Timing is a finding. Refreshing the same hunt until the list feels lucky is not. Waiting is a valid choice. When you later have a seat, persist first. The uuid is how Tuesday's diagnostic opens from Monday's save.
Questions
Do I need Nerxus One to follow these guides?
No. A Maps tab, a notes file, a preview you can host, and a sending domain are enough. Product names are how the same steps look in our app. Get started is /join if you want a seat later.
Can I get a first client in one week?
You can run find, prove, sample, and send in five working days. A signed job is a separate outcome. Treat the week as a cadence, not a promise. We will not print a close rate.
Should I call or text the businesses I find?
No. Week one is email-first on a domain you control. Cold voice and cold SMS are how new marketers get blocked and how this product stays locked. Forms consent is the only SMS on-ramp here.
How many businesses should I contact in week one?
Three to seven you can actually fulfill, each with a finding and a sample. Twenty generic emails is a worse week than five specific ones.
What should I charge, and what if nobody replies?
Charge a FEE you can say out loud for the work you will do this month. Do not quote a modeled recovery number as cash. If nobody replies, re-read the three emails. If the finding is vague or the link is dead, fix those two things before you hunt a new metro.
Is the blog the same as the guides?
No. The blog set is shells and is not written yet. Guides are methods you can run now. Do not cite a blog URL as a shipped essay.
Find the leak. Ship the work. Keep the account.
Tell us your vertical, your metro, and what you can fulfill. Supervised is the default. Plans start at $99/mo.
14-day trial. Card required, converts on day 15. Full table on /pricing.
